Le Paris was established in 1956 in downtown Montreal, making it the oldest French restaurant in the neighbourhood. Owners Frank and Frédéric are proud of their bistro's long history. The two friends and joint owners were both chefs for many years before taking up the reigns of Le Paris in 2008.
It is this expertise and passion for good food that has made this French bistro such a success. Over the years, Le Paris has evolved, with Frédéric and Frank adding a "bring your own wine" option. They also modernized the decor while retaining the restaurant's rich French atmosphere, which was exactly what they were aiming for.
"We want people to forget that they are in North America when they step inside our restaurant," says Frank. French music, red bench seats, paintings of Paris and a cozy atmosphere immediately make diners feel as if they are in a restaurant right in the middle of Paris.
